Delete account or data

Submit a request about deletion of your Hangman of the Damned game account and associated data from Project Katon.

Send a deletion request

Email Project Katon

Or write to hangman@projectkaton.com with the subject Hangman of the Damned account deletion. Your game account identifier is optional when submitting. You do not need to reinstall the game or sign in to send a request.

Verification comes before deletion

An email address or display name alone does not prove ownership. Never send a password, authentication code, session token or purchase token. Submitting a request or signing in does not delete your account. A verified browser-based account-deletion route is not currently available for the tester service. Fulfillment for an account you cannot access remains unavailable until an approved verification route is operating; email request submission is available now.

What account deletion removes

For enabled connected features, when verified deletion is completed, we remove the active game account, linked sign-in identity, sessions, cloud save, public profile, account-linked picture, connected scores, ranked progress and account-linked analytics. Completed deletions must be reconciled before older game data can be restored to service.

We also remove conduct acceptance, blocks involving the account and the added reporter-linked identity context for reports it sent or that concerned it. Other report metadata remains subject to the existing 90-day retention limit. Removing an account does not erase another player's already-earned rewards.

What is separate or retained

Your device-local Guest save and Google account are separate. Purchase/recovery evidence necessary to restore permanent purchases and prevent fraud can remain linked to a verified identity while purchases remain restorable. Reports, moderation, security records and backups have separate retention described in the game privacy notice. Deletion does not refund a purchase, erase Google-held records, clear your clipboard or recall screenshots and exports already shared.

Hide, private and delete are different

In enabled connected features, Hide public loadout removes the published profile after confirmation, but does not delete the account, stored picture or independent picture-sharing choice. Keep Google Picture Private blocks new authorized public image reads but leaves the stored picture available for your account/export. Selecting a game portrait changes presentation rather than erasing a stored Google image.
